Movies and TV

 

First Light Studios goal is to create and produce Christian and family-focused movies and television shows that possess the highest production standards and values and based on good stories.  Our goal is to acquire, co-produce and finance a slate of seven (7) feature-length films annually and seven (7) scripted television series. These projects will be supplemented with various music projects, live action plays and other related media products.

 

Each project produced by First light Studios will be approved through a greenlight process for films and TV shows that assures that each production under our slate is backed by these benchmarks:

 

Grounded in Truth

The overarching foundation that guides First Light Studios is built on two central convictions:

    1. The Bible is God’s Word.

    2. Jesus Christ is the heart and center of the Bible.

 

Authentic
Products that reflect an objective understanding of our audiences based on good stories, research, best practices and rigorous standards.

 

Engaging
Because of their authenticity, these productions will be aligned with the expressed values of the faith-based and family-oriented community and will result in a higher engagement rate than
traditionally produced content.

 

Empowering
By being reflection of the self-image of the marketplace, the offerings of First Light Studios will serve as a means of empowering the
audience rather than simply promoting clichés and stereotypes.
